About
I am an award winning documentary cameraman specialising in natural history, science and adventure films. From deserts to oceans, high altitude mountain tops to jungles for the last 10 years my work has taken me all over the world. I have extensive experience in remote and hostile environments but am equally at home in more domestic urban environments. I love working with people just as much as with wildlife and have worked on films that bridge the two.
I work as a self contained unit as well as part of a larger team and am as comfortable working on the shoulder as on a long lens. I have experience working with and operating the latest digital cinema cameras, camera grip, including jibs, cranes and stabilised gimbals, motion controlled time lapses, specialist super slow motion cameras, I fly drones and I am trained up on the Shot Over.
I work on large scale blue chip series, sync based documentaries and observational work for all the major broadcasters. I have a solid understanding of the technical side of filmmaking but I am creatively driven. I strive to bring the best images out of any situation and have a solid track record.
I hold 2 passports, an ivisa and I am up to date with all inoculations.
